Liminal Spaces

Ambiguity, the crunchy in-between, the murkiest transitions, the space wedged inside what was and what’s next… are tricky spaces for trauma survivors.

Sometimes what is floating in here are leaves on a stream, and sometimes they come as quick, savage punches to the gut.

In these spaces, we rekindle our fires and bump up against our Achilles’ heels.

We find our trip wires, and we gather the brick and mortar required to rebuild.

We are lured toward old, rusty patterns, and we harness the ability to shed lackluster skins and transform.

They are the powerhouse to building connection to ourselves, to other people, to something more.

They’re sweaty, painful, and nobody needs to be doing any of this alone.

If you find yourself inside one of these right now, I see you. I’m with you. Keep going.
